    The automotive world changed on April 17, 1964 when Ford formerly presented the Mustang during the World's Fair, held in New York City. The car was immediately available from dealerships on that day, selling 22,000 units during its debut. Last year, we celebrated the 60th birthday of our country's beloved Mustang by attending several Ford celebrations in Charlotte. Presented here is a firsthand account of how the Mustang effected former HOT ROD staff editor Tim Bernsau.

    Some of the nicest trucks got that way as a result of the snowball effect. You know how that works—it starts out simple and slow, then increases in speed and size until it rolls way past the original plan.  Zac Zipperian has always liked ’58 and ’59 Chevy trucks, and building one had been a dream of his for a while. In 2010, he found what he was looking for on eBay. It was a ’59 Chevy Apache—a southern truck from North Carolina.

    This 1927 Ford track T roadster, its owner Jon Hall, and builder Jesse Greening of Greening Auto Company, started 2023 on a high note—and sustained it for a solid year, scooping up a bunch of impressive honors, including Goodguys Street Rod of the Year. Hall's maroon Model T—built with a Shadow Rods reproduction steel body, modern aluminum flathead engine, custom chassis, and one-off components front to rear—made its public debut at the 2023 Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona.
