Selfridges has received planning permission to turn part of its flagship store on London’s Oxford Street into a bar and private dining space, a move which allow the retailer to launch its own members’ club next year. Westminster City Council’s planning sub-committee has signed off plans that would allow office space for staff on the fourth floor of 400 Oxford Street to be used as a members’ club.

Diary isn’t just here to be cynical and poke fun, we also like to recognise good work done by leading lights in the industry. So well done to the team at Rapleys for bringing a charity focus to its Business Consultancy Away Day 2025. Among what we are sure were many intense, important bidness-focused sessions, a sprinkling of fundraising initiatives were on the agenda – including the very daunting ice bath challenge.

Scrolling through everything on my MP3 player am revisiting @IAMSADISTIK for the first time in YEARS. This project with @KidComputer is a work of art. I think I only copped this, Salo and The Balancing Act back in the day. Now to catch up on what I missed then and since. https://t.co/bC8yVTC6UN

I'm a big fan of rappers telling you which verse of the song it is, like when Warren G says "Verse two, now what the fuck I do?" on This DJ. Super helpful if you're not paying total attention but want to know whereabouts in the song you are structurally.
