PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) - A 3-year-old boy was hit by an SUV and a truck in a hit-and-run in the Strawberry Mansion section of Philadelphia Thursday night. Around 9 p.m. at 33rd Street and Susquehanna Avenue, a mother and other family members were about to put the toddler into their car, but the boy ran off into the street, police said. The boy was then struck by a blue SUV, followed by a white pickup truck; both drivers kept going, investigators said.

TRENTON, N.J. (KYW Newsradio) - Capital Health closed its satellite emergency department in East Trenton Thursday morning due to structural concerns with a nearby building. The health system announced the sudden shutdown of its ER and outpatient clinic the afternoon prior, blindsiding the community and hospital employees. The Capital Health facility on Hamilton Avenue in East Trenton stopped accepting new patients to the ER at 7 a.m. Signs were posted on the doors and pillars at the entrance.

BROOKHAVEN, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) - Fire tore through a condo unit in Brookhaven, Delaware County, early Wednesday morning. A man was rescued from the building and taken to the hospital. Crews responded to The Summit, a condo complex tucked away on Hilltop Drive, just off Edgmont Avenue, shortly before 3 a.m. A fire broke out in a second-floor corner unit. "Come out and just saw some smoke that actually seemed to get worse before it got better, coming from the roof of the building.

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) - Philadelphia police are investigating a triple shooting that happened in the Tacony section of the city early Tuesday. Around 1:30 a.m., police responded to the area of Torresdale Avenue and Robbins Street. A 21-year-old driver had just dropped someone off when a dark-colored sedan pulled up and one or more people targeted him. Gunfire peppered the driver's side of the car more than a dozen times, police said.

POTTSTOWN, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) - Crews are searching for a man who went missing after his fishing boat capsized on the Schuylkill River in Pottstown, Montgomery County, Sunday night. First responders got a call around 8:30 p.m. that a motorized boat had flipped over on the Schuylkill River by the Keim Street Bridge. There were two people on the boat. Officials said one of them managed to get to shore safely, but the other person did not.
