PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) - Philadelphia police are looking for two shooters who opened fire on Market Street in West Philadelphia Monday night, leaving one victim in critical condition. According to police, two men in a white Nissan SUV pulled up to 59th and Market streets around 11:30 p.m., got out and opened fire at a 23-year-old man. The gunmen then got back in the SUV and drove off.

PHILADELPHIA ( KYW Newsradio) - At least eight people were injured Sunday morning after a Norristown High Speed Line trolley crashed into a bumper at the end of the tracks. Around 9:45 a.m., officials said the train did not come to a complete stop and it hit the bumper at the Norristown Transportation Center on Lafayette Street. Seven passengers and the train operator were injured. One of the victims suffered head and neck injuries and was airlifted to the hospital, fire officials said.

Right before he entered the priesthood, Chicago native Prevost received a degree in mathematics from Villanova. Since then, he has kept close ties to his alma mater.

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) - A Philadelphia police officer was taken to the hospital after officials said he was hit by a bullet under his vest while trying to break up a fight outside Overbrook High School on Wednesday. Authorities said it was around 2:45 p.m. when officers called for backup while dealing with kids fighting outside the school. However, kids involved called for reinforcements of their own, according to officials: a 30-year-old man with a gun.
