Tales of Graces f Remastered PS5 Review. I’m of two minds when it comes to remasters: I either want a full overhaul or the exact same experience on different hardware. Naturally, these are relative preferences depending on the game in question. For stylized games, they benefit the most with a remaster that simply upscales visuals. This is the approach that Bandai Namco Entertainment took with the release of Tales of Graces f Remastered.

Freedom Wars Remastered Review (PS5) – 20 years is quite a stretch of time for a game to get a port. This is the case for Freedom Wars Remastered. With that said, this remaster benefits from the same development team (and even some of the original members of the 2014 crew) working on this port. Ultimately, most of the game experience remains the same, but it’s in the minor changes that help to make this a worthwhile remaster.

Fantasian Neo Dimension PS5 Review. Rarely does a mobile RPG garner acclaim like Fantasian did. At the same time, names like Manabu Kusunoki and Nobuo Uematsu naturally draw attention for any fan of the genre. While not perfect, Fantasian Neo Dimension does so much right, making this a potential worthy labor of love for these beloved creators to wind down their careers with.

Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred Review (PS5) – As an avid fan of Diablo III, I was quite excited when Diablo IV finally arrived in the middle of last year. Much to my dismay however, the gameplay loop was lacking something. What the game offered then didn’t keep me around for too long. But I still wanted that same dungeon crawling and loot-nabbing experience that Diablo III gave me. While not a sweating dungeon crawler myself, I enjoy taking on harder content and getting upgrades along the way.

Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered PS5 Review. Shadows of the Damned hit my radar shortly after it launched in 2011. I didn’t know what to expect from it. I saw it on a shelf in my local rental store and took a chance. What I found was a great time; I didn’t quite know why I loved it, but I ran with it anyway. What I didn’t realize at the time was that Shinji Mikami was involved in the making of Shadows of the Damned.
