Tom DombeckManitowoc Herald Times ReporterAll season it looked like the state title at 120 pounds would come down to two area wrestlers, either Two Rivers’ Angie Bianchi or Manitowoc Lincoln’s Emjay Neumann. Both were reigning state champions, Bianchi at 114 and Neumann 120. Each had finished second at state at those same weights as freshmen, so something was going to give.

Schultz averaged 28.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game. He was named East Central Conference Player of the Year and First Team All-State. Making history didn’t prove too much of a problem for Plymouth junior Kayden Schultz.
