Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is reportedly close to finalizing a move to Saudi Arabian club Al-Ettifaq, managed by former Liverpool player Steven Gerrard. The England midfielder has been the subject of a $16m (£12m/€14m) bid, which Liverpool has accepted (as per the ECHO). Additionally, Brazilian midfielder Fabinho is also in talks to join Saudi Pro League champions Al-Ittihad in a $52m (£40m/€47m) deal, although there is now doubt over the transfer (as per The Athletic).
