AUGUSTA, GA (WSAU) — It took one hole longer than he wanted, but Rory McIlroy achieved a career Grand Slam with that elusive Masters win on Sunday at Augusta National. McIlroy missed a putt on 18, which would have given him the win, but he made up for it with a fantastic approach shot on the first playoff hole and made the birdie putt to beat Justin Rose by one stroke. It was his eleventh try at winning the Masters after a number of Sunday meltdowns in the past.
