WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office has announced a temporary safety zone and closures near Wausau Municipal Airport for the Wings Over Wausau Air Show on June 27-28, 2025. This will impact a large portion of Lake Wausau. Boaters should be aware that Lake Wausau will be closed from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on both days of the event.

Caleb Durbin had a three-run homer in the win. Freddy Peralta ran his record to 8-4 tossed five innings, gicing up three runs on seven hits with eight strikeouts and no walks. The Brewers run their record to 44-36 and stand 2.5 games behind the Cubs in the Central.

WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The Wausau Woodchucks beat the Lakeshore Chinooks 17-7 on Tuesday night at Athletic Park in Wausau. The Chucks banged out 17 hits and hit four home runs including Noah Malone who went deep three times. They were all solo shots and he finished with three RBIs.Dylan Schlotterback also had a solo shot. Ethan Guerra and Jake Berkland had three RBIs each while Dom Rodriguez & Max Galvin drove in two each. Garrett Landry picked up the win in relief.
