While it’s not quite clear when the lack of chemistry between Giorgia Meloni and President Macron turned into outright mutual loathing, the G7 meeting almost a year ago is as good a place as any to start. The court's decision means that remote check-ins - renters being given a code to open a key box without needing to meet the owner, for example - are once again allowed. Italian police had banned them in December over fears that terrorists could rent flats with forged documents.
