    A woman was struck and injured by a vehicle in Lakeside May 29. It happened at about 10:37 p.m. at the intersection of Dumbarton Road and Bentley Street, where Henrico Police said they found the woman with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The Henrico Police Crash Team is investigating the incident, and the streets were closed temporarily.

    A water main break overnight on Canal Street in the City of Richmond is causing low water pressure for some Henrico County residents who receive their water from the city’s water system, but the water is safe to drink, county officials said Friday morning. But "out of an abundance of caution," officials said they have opened a bottled water distribution site at the former Best Products headquarters, 1400 Best Plaza, just off Parham Road at I-95.

Steward School graduate Nic Enright has just made his Major League Baseball debut, for the Cleveland Guardians, pitching a scoreless inning against the Detroit Tigers. Enright was drafted by the Guardians out of Virginia Tech in 2020, then diagnosed with cancer in 2022.
