The Henrico Citizen is a community newspaper that comes out every two weeks in Henrico County, Virginia, which is near Richmond. Established in 2001, the newspaper has received a total of 137 awards for its news coverage and advertising design since 2002. It has a circulation of 17,000 copies per issue and can be found through mail subscriptions and at many local businesses and stores, including Walmart, Martin's, Kroger, Wawa, and county libraries, among other locations.

    The Henrico School Board voted unanimously May 8 to authorize slight price increases for student and adult meals, with officials saying the change was necessary to address rising costs. Full-price student breakfasts will increase from $1.50 to $1.75 beginning in the fall, while full-price student lunches will increase by 10 cents to $3. The cost for adult breakfasts will increase by 10 cents, to $2.85, and the cost for adult lunches will jump by 20 cents to $4.85.

Gerard Anthony Harvell last was heard from on Tuesday, April 29, at about 1 p.m. There are concerns for his well-being. Harvell is a Black male, with black hair and brown eyes, 6 feet tall and about 190 pounds. He was last seen leaving his home in the 2700 block of Byron Street at about 10 a.m. April 29 in a grey 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
