    Sophia Bordi left the University of Oklahoma softball team due to a "personal situation," according to a report in The Oklahoman on Tuesday. Bordi’s status was confirmed by coach Patty Russo, who said the right-handed pitcher went home and did not finish the season with the squad. Bordi, a Merchantville native, graduated from Haddon Heights High School earlier this year in order to join Oklahoma early, where she red-shirted. “She’s not here on campus,” Grasso told The Oklahoman.
