The Courier-Post, along with its website CourierPostOnline.com, caters to the residents of Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester counties in New Jersey. It ranks as the fifth largest newspaper in the state. Founded in 1875, the publication relocated to Camden four years later in 1879. In 1899, it combined with The Telegram to form The Post & Telegram. Later, in 1926, The Post & Telegram joined forces with the Camden Courier under the ownership of J. David Stern. In 1959, the Courier-Post became part of Gannett Co., Inc.

A Survey USA poll has Sherrill ahead by 13 points, while a National Research Inc. poll shows a tighter 3-point lead.     Several South Jersey towns are hosting fireworks displays in late June and early July. Fireworks displays are planned for June 28 in Maple Shade and Westville, and on the Battleship New Jersey. Many communities have fireworks planned for July 3-4, including those in Camden, Cherry Hill, Ocean City and Philadelphia. South Jersey folks love fireworks in the summertime. It’s right up there with ice cream, cookouts, water ice and going to the Jersey Shore.
