I’m hoping the snow is done and the rain is just getting started. We are in April, the month whose showers bring the flowers next month. We are also in a drought. The sparse snowfall of this past winter was a pleasant surprise, but the lack of moisture isn’t good for anything or anyone. Fire experts say we are currently in one of the most dangerous times of the year. The period between snowmelt and green-up is when fires can be very destructive.

The style of the crime, the people involved as suspects, and the investigator’s methods all affect whether or not the murder mystery is too easy or too hard to solve. Many of us enjoy being armchair detectives.
