    TotalEnergies has signed a contract with the Netherlands’ RDW to begin its accreditation as a European Electronic Toll Service (EETS) Provider for the Netherlands’ new GNSS distance-based toll system for heavy goods vehicles. The system is set to launch in just over a year, on July 1, 2026, and will use satellite GNSS technology to monitor vehicles over 3.5 tons, similar to existing systems in Belgium and Germany.

    Mumbai is preparing to fight chronic traffic congestion by launching a fleet of 11 hydrofoiling electric ferries designed to unlock the potential of waterways for urban mobility. The hydrofoiling P-12 ferries will initially serve Mumbai’s most congested routes, delivering significant time savings for commuters. A planned route connecting the new airport to central Mumbai is expected to cut the journey that currently takes 1 hour 30 minutes by road to less than 30 minutes.
