Roger Bourbonniere, who worked in retail for 35 years before retiring last year, has always had a passion for spreading joy.     Connecticut State Police said Thursday that human remains were found in Killingly. State police said the remains were discovered late Wednesday afternoon. Members of the Eastern District Major Crimes Unit and several state police officers were working the scene. "This investigation is in the early stages and is still very active," a Connecticut State Police spokesperson said in a statement. Investigators were targeting some woods at the end of Woodward Street, which is a dead end.

    JOHNSTON, R.I. (WJAR) — An Easter egg hunt was held at Johnston High School last weekend for a special group of kids from all of Rhode Island. The event, which began in 2019, was hosted by 'In-Sight,' a non-profit that provides services to people who are visually impaired and blind in Rhode Island. Unlike typical egg hunts that consist of small colorful eggs, these ones made noise.
