The third inning finally comes to a close. Jordan Wicks didn’t get much help. The @IowaCubs failed to turn an inning-ending double play and an error dragged it on. But Wicks gets out of it without allowing a run.

Jordan Wicks was on the verge of getting out of the first inning unharmed. But a two-run double by St. Paul’s Mike Ford gives the Saints a 2-0 lead. Wicks needed one more strike to get out of it.
