Kildare have been drawn to play Meath in the semi-final of the Delata Hotel Leinster U20 Football Championship. The game, in Ashbourne, will take place on Tuesday 22 April at 7.30. The second semi-final will see Dublin travel to Darver to take on Louth on the same evening.

Saturday evening began at Cedral St Conleth's Park, Newbridge, with an emotional tribute to former Kildare manager, Mick O'Dwyer, with Co. Board Chairman making a presentation to Micko's son, Karl, on behalf of the family, Karl of course played with The Lilies under his dad. The attendance of 7,000 made their feelings known with a standing ovation for the great Micko.
