CASPER, Wyo. — The Casper City Council on Tuesday approved the purchase of two vehicles to be used by the Public Facilities Department and the Support Services Department. The city will purchase a new half-ton crew cab pickup truck for $43,588 for the Public Facilities Department. It will be used for day-to-day Buildings and Structures operations, including inspections, repairs, maintenance and other routine activities.

CASPER, Wyo. — The Casper Area Metropolitan Planning Organization will update its Safe Routes to School plan, which is designed to make routes to and from schools as safe as possible for students, faculty and motorists. On Tuesday, the Casper City Council approved a contract between the Casper Area MPO and Stantec Consulting to update the road safety plan.

CASPER, Wyo. — The Casper City Council on Tuesday approved a handful of contracts for landscaping services, as well as a contract for a new parking lot project. Among the contracts are five for landscaping and tree removal services. The city reached agreements with AAA Landscaping, Brian’s Go To Service, Leon’s Landscaping, Local Lawn Care and JNC Services. According to city staff, multiple contractors are required since companies have other clients and may not always be available to work.

On Tuesday, the Casper City Council approved its share of a contract with HDR Engineering for a Robertson Road corridor study, with the total cost split between several local governments.
