    A more than 40-mile high-speed chase through Carbon County on Tuesday ended in Saratoga with the arrest of the driver and his passenger on felony drug charges. Andrew Nollen and Erin Kampa are accused of leading law enforcement on a chase along Interstate 80 that began in Rawlins, then made a few loops through Sinclair before finally stopping in Saratoga. The pair then surrendered without incident, said Lt. Jared Frakes with the Rawlins Police Department.

    Hulett Police Chief Bill Motley drove down Main Street on a recent June day as he completed his morning rounds. This consists of checking for signs of break-ins, vandalism of local businesses and anything else that doesn’t look right in the small town of around 400 people tucked in the far northeast corner of Wyoming less than 10 miles from Devils Tower. Someone waved from the sidewalk, and Motley slowed down to see if everything was OK. It was.

    HARTVILLE — Kindness Ranch’s John Ramer will never forget the time he coordinated the placement of 100 dogs from a research facility in Houston, Texas. As Ramer and a man from the facility watched the dogs being loaded up, the man seemed to be emotional, Ramer said. “I thought that it was because we were taking all of these dogs, and he was happy to see them go. And when I asked him what he was thinking about, he said that he had to put his family dog down over his lunch break,” Ramer said.
