March Madness begins in full force on Wednesday with the opening round in three of the six classes at the 49th NSAA State Girls Basketball Championships. Classes A, C-1 and D-1 will kick off the championships on Wednesday with Classes B, C-2 and D-2 playing opening round contests on Thursday. Four of the six defending champions have returned: Millard West (A), Lincoln Christian (C-1), Yutan (C-2) and Pender (D-1) are back to defend their 2024 titles.
