    11 years ago, I reviewed a fun little battling game called Pixel Tactics. With some great retro inspired graphics, Pixel Tactics went on to have a pretty great run with multiple expansions and even a Mega Man retheme. Fast forward to today, and publisher Level 99 Games has breathed some new life into this game with their launch of Super Pixel Tactics on Gamefound. Boasting not only updated art and graphic design, but also a storage system and even solo play.

    Game publisher Corvus Belli is mostly known for their cool looking minis and variety of skirmish games. Infinity and Warcrow are their two big names, depending on if you are into sci-fi or fantasy. But this year saw them delve into the dungeon crawler genre with Warcrow Adventures. It takes players to the world of Warcrow, but gives them a cooperative campaign-based dungeon crawler. Were they successful in making the jump? Let’s find out.

    As any faithful BGQ reader probably knows, I’ve got a love affair with dexterity games. You make a game with flicking, stacking, tossing, or any other hand-eye coordination element, and I’ll give it a go. If it’s fun, I’ll probably be glued to it for most of the night. So when the Carrom Company asked I we wanted to check out their Carrom board, the answer was obviously a resounding yes. However, their board is much more than just a board to play Carrom on.
