A mid-swim idyll at Mandraki Beach Resort. Credit: Thomas Gravanis Traveling to Hydra is normally a relaxing, almost soporific affair. Every roster betrays the personal biases of the creator. I’m a writer and historian who lives in the East Village, where I host free literary cabaret events in a historic bar.
