Reading Time: 2 minutesOver 370,000 postcards are on their way to registered voters in the County of San Diego’s First Supervisorial District listing their voting options for the July 1 special general election. The person elected will fill the district’s vacant seat for the remainder of the current term that ends in January 2029. Only those who live in the district can vote in the election.

The Chief Administrative Officer’s recommended budget won’t be released until May 1, but staff members were on hand to spotlight some of the County’s many services, talk about where funding comes from, and speak to how decisions are made in developing and adopting the County’s budget.
