LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A man driving on the wrong side of M-14 was killed after crashing head-on into a semi-truck yesterday. The Michigan State Police Brighton Post reports that troopers were sent to a car and semi-truck crash at the area of eastbound M-14 Hwy. at Vorhies Rd. in Washtenaw County at around 11:05 p.m.Police report that a 2009 Acura MDX driven by a 26-year-old man from Whitmore Lake was traveling westbound on M-14 in the eastbound lane.

That’s according to Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel, who is warning Michigan residents about the rise of celebrity impersonation scams. The Office of the Attorney General reports that scammers are impersonating celebrities like Snoop Dogg, Garth Brooks, Kid Rock and even military leaders, including former and active four-star generals, to steal money from victims.

Anhydrous ammonia trailer flipped over on M-52 (Ingham County Emergency Management)Ingham County Emergency Management says the pickup truck was transporting a trailer tank of anhydrous ammonia, a colorless, pungent gas used primarily in agriculture as a nitrogen fertilizer, when a minivan crashed into it on M-52 in Locke Twp.

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The Village of Pinckney Police Department has arrested three suspects and is searching for three more connected to an auto theft ring. Police report that officers responded to a suspicious situation at the Pinckney Chrysler dealership at 5:30 a.m. in March 2024. Officers arrived to find vehicles speeding out of the parking lot off Kirkland Ct. One of the vehicles was stopped, and police arrested one of the theft suspects.
