(KMAland) -- The Iowa High School Athletic Association has released the substate boys soccer brackets. The postseason begins on Monday, May 19th for 3A and 4A and Tuesday, May 20th for 1A and 200. For the boys, there's an aspiration to extend their season by at least one round, while the girls are focused on developing and continuing to improve with their youthful bunch. (Corydon) -- The Wayne girls track & field team will host a Class 1A State Qualifying Meet on Thursday night. For the Falcons, it will be one more chance to showcase their season-long growth while also trying to secure spots in the Class 1A State Meet. "I'm pretty happy with our year so far," Wayne head coach Aaron Cooper tells KMA Sports. "We're a pretty young team. We lost some big seniors last year. (Missouri Valley) -- The Missouri Valley girls soccer team is playing its best soccer of the year -- and perhaps ever -- right now, thanks to the brilliance of senior Devon Koyle. "It's been a really good season," Koyle said. "We tied the school records for wins already. We're hoping to get at least one more so we can break that record. We have a lot of newcomers that have really helped the team.
