Scattered rain showers today, then the heat takes over. Highs well into the 90's next week. What we are tracking: Low pressure over Louisiana, is close enough to keep instability in the region today. This instability with daytime heating, was able to create scattered rain showers in the area today. Starting tomorrow, dry air works in, which will keep the area sunny and very hot in the afternoon. Highs well into the mid 90's likely, with sunny skies.
