Cool and gloomy Tuesday. Strong to severe storms Wednesday and Thursday. Warmer this weekend, still wet. TUESDAY: Rain returns in some capacity this afternoon. Cool temperatures, highs in the 60s. WEDNESDAY: Another gloomy start, followed by some sunshine late-morning. This destabilizes the atmosphere and will allow strong to severe storms in the afternoon and evening. Hail and wind are the main threats, along with more heavy rain. Temperatures creep up a little bit with upper 60s and 70s.

Strong to severe storms this afternoon, especially east. Widespread, heavy rain tonight and Tuesday morning. Much cooler for a few days, storms remain. MONDAY: Mostly sunny first half of the day, but cloud cover quickly increases. Showers and storms return this afternoon, especially after 3 pm. Strong to severe storms are possible, predominantly over the (far) eastern Plains, with hail and wind. Temperatures are warm, in the 80s and 90s.

Saturday has been warm: highs in the upper 70s and 80s. Isolated storms this evening, some strongerA storm system next week will bring cooler days and more rain. SATURDAY: Sunshine was more widespread earlier today, as clouds have increased this afternoon. An isolated storm is possible. One or two of these could even be strong, especially around the Pikes Peak Region, with hail, heavy rain and gusty winds. Highs once again reach the upper 70s and 80s.

WEDNESDAY Recap: Showers and storms form over the mountains and quickly spread eastward. Some will likely turn severe with (very) large hail up to tennis balls, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes. The main threat will be over the eastern Plains, but Colorado Springs and Pueblo aren’t safe either.
