    ROCK SPRINGS — The Wyoming Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities (WGCDD) is working on its five-year plan to improve services. In an effort to gain helpful information in this goal, representatives from the WGCDD hosted a listening session at Able Hands in Rock Springs on Monday, March 31. They spoke with providers from local non-profit organizations about gaps and successes in services for people with developmental disabilities.

    ROCK SPRINGS -- Advocates for an ordinance change are still waiting for a decision from the Rock Springs City Council. An amendment to the ordinance entitled “Humane Control and Regulation of Animals,” which would allow for the raising of chickens within corporate boundaries of the city, was tabled by the council during its regular meeting on Tuesday, April 1. Councilman Rob Zotti motioned to table the ordinance change until the chicken committee can review more information.
