    Traiskirchen, Austria (WCIV) โ€” Trooper Bob departed Charleston Tuesday to travel to the other side of the world to visit a very special place in his heart. He's visiting the refugee camp he was born in. Bob was born in the district of Baden, Austria after his parents fled Hungary in 1971. Traiskirchen, 12 miles south of Vienna, is a city and municipality in the district of Baden in Lower Austria and is home of the largest refugee camp in Austria and also where Bob was born.

    The Crosstown is closed towards I-26 after a tractor trailer struck several trees and came to a stop in the middle of the roadway. The closure is affecting Septima P. Clark Parkway (US-17/Crosstown) between Rutledge Ave and the interstate, heading northbound. All three lanes were blocked as as 6:15 a.m. No injuries are reported, according to police. Police are on scene are directing motorists to use Line Street as Charleston Fire crews work to clear the scene. Delays are expected.

    NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) โ€” Barry Davall said it was the moment his phone received a Tornado Warning that some of his home's windows blew out. The North Mt. Pleasant resident was home when a confirmed tornado touched-down Tuesday afternoon. He said an outdoor portable toilet was blown into the air and hit the side of his car, causing the vehicle to then hit a tree. Davall said one of his windows and his door will have to be replaced.
