The nonprofit "Bags of Fun" hosted a charity event on Sunday.Even though it felt like -20 degrees Sunday morning, it was a good time to head to an ice-covered lake in West Omaha.White Hawk Lake was dotted with ice fishing shanties. More than 30 fishing enthusiasts hit the frigid wind and ice for a charity tournament.The event was to raise money for the nonprofit.

Another school in the Metro fell victim to a cybersecurity attack involving the school software PowerSchool.The software provider was the target of a data breach in late December. Last week, PowerSchool notified Elkhorn Public Schools that some data belonging to families and educators had been taken.Now, Creighton Prep said some of their data has been breached.The breach obtained names, addresses, birth dates, and social security numbers.

OMAHA, Nebraska (KETV) -- A woman is left scrambling after she says her car, and her dog Sonic, were stolen in midtown Omaha on Saturday morning. Alanah Nantell of Omaha told KETV she did a regular coffee run to Myrtle & Cypress. She said she left the car running because Sonic was inside. "I took my keys with me and didn't know that people could drive off with my car," she said. "I just walked out, and my car was gone."Sonic is a tan and white pitbull mix with a large scar on his side.

Two people were critically injured in a reported shooting in North Omaha on Sunday night.Authorities received a call of a shooting after 7:30 p.m. in the area of 70th Street and Military Avenue. The blocked-off scene also includes the area of 67th and Sprague streets.Police say two people were transported to a hospital with critical injuries.There are no suspects at this time.

Omaha police search for a suspect involved in a gas station robbery. Officers arrived at the Baker's near Marcy Street and Saddle Creek Road just before 1 p.m. Saturday. Authorities said the suspect threatened an employee and demanded money. The employee told police the suspect indicated he had a weapon, but she didn't see it. Investigators said the suspect got the money and ran away.
