More Americans than ever have Alzheimer's Disease. The Alzheimer's Association's latest estimate, released in a report Tuesday, said around 7.2 million in the U.S. have the disease. Anti-amyloid treatments target plaque in the brain. The FDA approved the first version of the drug in 2023. It's administered by regular infusions.
