The Michigan Department of Natural Resources has closed hiking, biking and off-road vehicle (ORV) trails indefinitely in the 12 counties for which Governor Gretchen Whitmer declared a state of emergency on March 31. The emergency declaration came after parts of the northern Lower Peninsula and eastern Upper Peninsula were covered in snow and ice over the course of multiple days at the end of last month. Thick ice coated nearly everything and brought down countless trees, limbs and branches.

One group said some of the acreage could be a good fit for solar development. Whitmer’s tariff talk and optics L reminds me of when she proposed a huge gas tax increase to fix the roads and everybody laughed it down. I’ve always been cooler on Presidential hype bc of these types of stumbles https://t.co/udRYlCpfwa

Hilarious to see Whitmer getting attacked from the left with the exact same tone the right attacked her for every day until now.

I taped an interview with a big name economist this morning all about tariffs and employment. By the time we were done, the tariffs were gone lol
