Preoperative chemoradiotherapy is decisive for local control of advanced RC, and good responders can adopt a conservative sphincter-sparing strategy without compromising clinical outcomes. However, responses to nCRT vary significantly, and only up to 25% of patients can benefit from a watchful strategy, while the remaining experience minimal tumor regression or progression associated with poor prognosis.

The present work aimed to explore the links between tryptophan nutrition and metabolic responses in European seabass (Dicentrarchus labrax) held under space-confined conditions, and subsequently submitted to an immune challenge.

The pre-T cell receptor (TCR) and TCR complexes are frequently expressed in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL), an aggressive T cell precursor malignancy. Although mutations in TCR components are infrequent in T-ALL, earlier research indicated that transgenic αβ TCR expression in mouse T cell precursors promoted T-ALL development. However, we recently found that stimulation of TCR signaling in T-ALL induced leukemic cell apoptosis and suppressed leukemia.

The purpose of this study was to explore perceived changes in working conditions and wellbeing among managers of growing small businesses. To show how the results lead to conclusions regarding the purpose of the study, we first give a brief summary of the main findings and then discuss the observed changes in the managers’ wellbeing, their demands and resources, as well as changes in the context of small businesses itself in the process of growth.
