Introduction: Clear guidelines for colorectal lung metastasis (LM) treatment are not available. This study aimed to provide insight into the treatment strategies and efficacy of local and systemic therapy in patients with LM eligible for (potentially) curative treatment. Methods: This was a retrospective study of patients with ≤5 LM discussed in two tertiary referral centers. Patient and tumor characteristics were compared between treatment groups.

However, the success rates of such efforts are mixed, necessitating thorough preliminary investigation. Stochastic population modeling can be a useful method of assessing the potential success of translocations.

MethodsPrimary Objective: To investigate whether we can predict pathological response to preoperative CRT by DNA methylation profiling in liquid biopsies. This study is still exploratory and will not have clinical consequences on the included patients of this study. The short term aim for this study is to find DNA methylation patterns in liquid biopsies to predict pathological response to CRT.
