The organization receives billions of pounds of materials from clothing to couches to their hundreds of stores across the country, and they’re doing they’re part to reduce their landfill footprint. The donation location is doing that thanks to the efforts in their Goodwill Clearance Centers across the country, including one in Phoenix. The clearance bins are another stop for potential life of discarded goods.

PUERTO PENASCO, MX (AZFamily) — Businesses in Rocky Point hope the Memorial Day weekend and summer vacations will help them continue to rebound after millions of dollars were lost during the temporary closure of the Lukeville Port of Entry. Yvonne Couture lives in Arizona but has called Rocky Point her second home for more than forty years. She plans to keep it that way and not just because of the water’s serene views. “I feel safe here. All the locals are very helpful and very nice,” Couture said.
