Boston police are searching for 10-year-old Zayleigh Bourget, who was last seen in Dorchester. She has a developmental disability and was last spotted Friday at about 1:15 p.m. near Hecla Street, police said.Zayleigh is described as a Hispanic female, about 4 feet 8 inches tall, approximately 120 pounds, a medium build, with thin, brown wavy hair and brown eyes.

A Gloucester, Massachusetts, police officer has been charged with receiving of child sexual abuse material, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. Alexander Aiello, 24, of Gloucester, was charged with one count of possession of child pornography.

A crash involving a school bus with students on board is under investigation Friday afternoon in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood.The crash happened at 2:52 p.m. at 375 Harvard St., Boston police said. There were students on the bus at the time of the crash, police said.According to a WCVB photographer at the scene, the crash involved the bus and another vehicle, which had some visible damage. That vehicle was towed from the scene and officers were seen talking to the driver.

A dozen men accused of paying for sex in a high-end brothel operation in Cambridge, Watertown and Virginia made their first court appearances on Friday. Twelve men were arraigned in Cambridge District Court, charged with paying for commercial sex in connection with brothels operating out of Cambridge and Watertown apartments from 2020 to 2022, involving women trafficked predominantly from Asia.

Massachusetts is asking residents to help design a new state seal, flag and motto with the aim to reflect the state’s diversity and heritage. The Massachusetts Seal, Flag and Motto Advisory Commission is now accepting submissions until June 18 via the commission's online portal. "Our seal, flag, and motto should reflect not just our history, but the vibrant, diverse community we are today – and the future we are building together," said Education Secretary Dr. Patrick Tutwiler.
