SHREVEPORT, La. – Allegations that two Caddo Parish residents voted twice in the sheriff’s election thus tainting the results -- along with other irregularities -- have been the focus so far at a hearing this morning in Caddo District Court. Candidate John Nickelson sought the hearing in a lawsuit he filed Monday afternoon contesting the Nov. 18 election results that put candidate Henry Whitehorn up by one vote.

Thank you @atmosenergy for helping my Dad Friday after the storms. A crew replacing gas lines in Mansfield, La., saw my 86-year-old Dad trying to move some big limbs from the driveway. They stopped what they were doing to help him. Used their own equipment to do it. Bless them!
