On September 5, 2015, KTBS 3 marked its 60th anniversary of providing broadcast services to the ArkLaTex region. We operate from our state-of-the-art digital facility located on Kings Highway in Shreveport, reaching out to 28 counties and parishes across East Texas, Northwest Louisiana, Southeast Oklahoma, and Southern Arkansas. Our offerings include seven stations, starting with KTBS 3 and KPXJ CW-21, along with several digital channels such as MeTV (channel 21.2), Antenna TV (channel 21.4), Movies! (channel 21.3), and our dedicated 24-Hour Weather channel (3.2) and 24-Hour News channel (3.3). Shreveport is conveniently situated within a five-hour drive of seven major cities and has emerged as a hub for film and television production. With over 398,000 households in our designated market area (DMA), Shreveport acts as the economic powerhouse for a region that extends north to McCurtain County in Oklahoma, west to Longview, Texas, south to Natchitoches, Louisiana, and east to Monroe, Louisiana. This diverse area consists of a variety of mid-sized communities, contributing to a television audience of more than half a million residents.
