WORCESTER — Worcester Art Museum has announced that its long-awaited Arms and Armor Galleries will open to the public on Nov. 25, with timed-entry reservations for the gallery opening on Oct. 22 on worcesterart.org. The galleries presenting the Higgins Armory Collection will span approximately 5,000 square feet and make a substantial amount of the entire collection accessible to the public through new installations and an innovative open storage system.

The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts has announced its 2025-26 season, augmenting its Broadway series with subscriptions to its THT Rep and dance series. Musicals set for the Broadway series include "SIX," "Chicago" and “The Music Man.”The dance series will feature work from Parsons Dance Company, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Cirque Kalabanté and Dance Theatre of Harlem.

WORCESTER — The Brew Woo & More Sips Too event scheduled for April 19 at the DCU Center, has been canceled, according to information on the craft beer festival's website. Information about the event has also been removed from the DCU Center's website. "Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, the resources required to deliver the festival at the level our partners — and most importantly, our fans — deserve, simply aren’t feasible this year," read a message on brewwoo.com.

The news comes after last year's loss of stART on the Street, and on the heels of news that Art in the Park is going on hiatus. That joke was terrible, but it’s definitely true that WoMag looks a little taller and thinner today than it usually does. That’s because, from here on out, Worcester Magazine will be printed as a broadsheet instead of as a tabloid, meaning, in the most straightforward of terms, it’ll look a lot like a section of the Telegram & Gazette.
