Last Wednesday (9 August) saw the 103rd Thornton-le-Dale show and the YorkMix team were there to celebrate everything country!Always well-attended, the sun finally shone this summer and crowds were treated to a huge programme of events. Heavy horses, vintage tractors, falconry and BMX bike stunts – this picturesque village really did have it all – including Mixie the Monster. The extensive and beautiful Newby Hall and Gardens played host to the YorkMix Summer Tour on Friday with yet more mixed weather. The summer tour set up outside the ice cream parlour, by the miniature railway and had great fun with visitors prepared for all weathers. There was a spot of rain, but that didn’t stop us having a wonderful time on the train ride, boats, visiting the dolls house collection and more.

The YorkMix summer tour car looked very much at home in Dino Stone Park today, yes, we were at the home of the tour, Flamingo Land!There were plenty of chances to win with YorkMix on site, Victoria broadcasting live, a trip round the zoo, and of course a go on the all new thrill seeking ride, Sik!Lots of excitement in the park as well for this weekends big event – Blue! who will be performing all the big hits on Saturday evening. To gain access to the park from 4 pm and attend party in the park.
