HUNDREDS of walkers and runners have taken part in an annual charity event in memory of an Aghyaran woman. Popping on their favourite running shoes with their friends by their sides, the event welcomed crowds from across Tyrone and beyond, all taking part in the special ‘Memorial 5k Walk/Run’ for Gemma McHale. Commencing at the Aghyaran Centre, the evening race meandered through some of the county’s most scenic parts with delicious refreshments served afterwards.

OLD time gospel hymns with contemporary twists filled the walls of Omagh Baptist Church on as an joyful gospel concert of praise and prayer rang in the spring season. The recent uplifting evening, organised by Doyle Mills, featured a short set from guitar instrumentalist, Nathan McCormick as well as the wonderful voices of the Omagh Baptist Church (OBC) choir, directed by the church’s talented musician, Andrea Sawyers, who has a wealth of experience at working with choirs.
