LemFi, a remittance startup, has raised $53 million in a Series B funding round. In a statement on Tuesday, Highland Europe, a London-based growth-stage investment, said it led the funding round, with other participating investors including Endeavor Catalyst, Left Lane Capital, Palm Drive Capital, and Y Combinator. The new funding brings LemFi’s total capital raised to $85 million.

On January 1, a Tesla cybertruck exploded outside the entrance of the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, resulting in the death of one person and injuring seven others.
