The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday informed that there has been a sudden rise in the maximum temperature in different parts of Odisha. As per IMD, the maximum temperature registered an appreciable rise by about 2-3 degree C at one or two places over the districts of North Interior Odisha and no large change at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha.

The mortal remains of Prashant Satpathy, the Odia youth who tragically lost his life in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir on Tuesday, will be brought back to Odisha today. Arrangements for the repatriation of his body are being coordinated by the administration, with assistance from the Odisha government and officials stationed in New Delhi. As per official sources, Prashant’s body is scheduled to arrive in Delhi from Srinagar at 2:35 PM this afternoon.
