Jaipur: Former MLA and BJP leader Girraj Singh Malinga surrendered at the SC-ST Court in Dholpur on Wednesday evening. The court sent Malinga to judicial custody till December 2.
Following his surrender, the police escorted Malinga, the former MLA of Bari, on foot for about half a kilometer to the Kotwali police station. From there, he was transported in a police vehicle to Dholpur Jail.

Dholpur: A patient attacked a doctor with scissors in his neck after a dispute over money on Santar Road in the Nihalganj police station area of Dholpur on Sunday.
Eyewitnesses stated that doctor Kali Shankar runs his clinic, Chandsi Dawakhana. Gaurav came to the doctor’s clinic and stabbed him in the neck for allegedly overcharging him.
After getting information, police reached the spot from where Shankar was taken to hospital. The seriously injured doctor has been referred for treatment.

Dholpur: Three young people died on the spot as a result of a severe collision between a tractor and a tempo near Diholi on Rajkheda Dholpur Road in the Dholpur district. Police have retained the bodies of all three in the district hospital’s mortuary. The clash was so strong that the tempo exploded on the spot, killing all three. The police transported them to the district hospital via ambulance. The tractor driver escaped, leaving the tractor behind. The tractor has been seized into their custody.
