The 75,000-square-foot building, located at 1100 11th Ave. Blvd. SE off Lenoir Rhyne Boulevard, was sold to Conwest Holdings LLC on May 12 for $1,937,500, according to Catawba County real estate records. The registered agent for Conwest Holdings is Joe Joseph, Jr., a Hickory native.

    Statesville High School seniors graduated on Saturday on a dewy football field under a bright morning sun. The 230 graduates walked onto the field in royal blue robes to the sound of cheers from an enthusiastic crowd. Honor speaker Farrah Ramsey led her classmates through an affirmation, asking the graduates to repeat after her, reminding them to seize each day. The senior class song was "Time after Time" by Cyndi Lauper, sung by the school chorus.
