Book tour continued with an event at the Mission Creek Festival in Iowa City and a makeup event at the Tara Theatre in Atlanta. In Iowa City I was greeted by redwing blackbirds, bald eagles, migrating cranes, and some of the most exciting, thought provoking writers in America. My conversation partner was Melissa Febos who absolutely slays me… And as if that wasn’t enough we had a beforehand backstage hangout with the mighty Rachel Yoder as well the venue chief, Nina Lohman.
