I’m particularly impressed by the meticulous work he puts into the elaborate set dressing of his shoots, all carefully art directed to tell fascinating stories through arresting images.

Cobra was apparently a very big hit especially in France, with The Fifth Element director Luc Besson been a big fan.

Real pity the film didn't snag the Oscars that year for best #vfx. @ILMVFX really cooked something spectacular that cinema has never seen before. Good vfx is already hard to make, but groundbreaking vfx is yet harder.
