Isaac Esquivel is in rarefied air. The Redwood High School senior is in his third season as the team's starting shortstop. Esquivel is just the second player during head coach Dan Hydash's tenure to be a three-year starter at his position, joining former Redwood, College of the Sequoias and Sonoma State standout Elijah Munoz. Hydash has been the Rangers skipper since the 2014 season. "That's really tough to do," Hydash said.
