PROSPECT PARK — The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce (BCC) officially launched its summer-long pop-up at BRIC’s Celebrate Brooklyn Festival with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 13 in Prospect Park’s Lena Horne Bandshell. BAY RIDGE — Jubilation was in the air, as it has been for the past 30-plus years along Fifth Avenue, as community members once again came together on Sunday, June 1 for a day of eating, drinking, music, rides, shopping and games. 2025’s “Fun on Fifth” festival’s turnout was “incredible,” according to Bay Ridge Fifth Avenue Business Improvement District (BID) Executive Director Elizabeth Lovejoy, sponsor of the event.
